Crispy Tofu Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients:

1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 bell pepper, diced
1 carrot, shredded
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
Lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

Toss tofu cubes with soy sauce and cornstarch until coated.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook tofu until crispy and golden, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, bell pepper, and carrot until tender.
Add hoisin sauce and stir to combine.
Spoon the mixture into lettuce leaves, top with tofu, green onions, and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
